Last Wednesday night, we had dinner with our friends, Ben and Jenny. They were passing through Greensboro and we had arranged to have dinner before they got back on the road, heading to Atlanta. Jenny and I have known each other since we were about.. hmm... 12ish? Anyways, it's been a long time. Her family lived in Greensboro for awhile, but then moved and we kept in touch some, but lost track of each other through college years. Somehow we found each other again and have been keeping in touch since then. It's easier these days with Email and Blogs to keep us up to date on people's lives. But it was nice to see them in person again, even for a short time.

yay, our visit made the blog :) it was good to see you guys! we just got back last night from atlanta--came back a day early due to being sick. we went to the ER this morning to get checked out and turns out we have bronchitis, sinusitis, laryngitis, and all of that is caused by a "random upper-respiratory virus." So, we are calling ourselves the "Abelitis" family right now. we have been in bed all day today but i am finally "coming to" from the heavy drugs they put us on this morning (tussenex--it's hydrocodeine with anti-histimaine I think, which apparently knocks you out for like 8 hours, but boy does it work!!). it was certainly not a good end to the vacation, but oh well - nothing we can do about it.
Wow! You guys have really been sick!! So sorry to hear that! I hope you're both feeling better by now. We have had a stomach thing this week and Emma's been running a fever since Thursday. I hope she's going to get over this soon!
